3rd Purser - Guest Relations

PURPOSE

The 3rd Purser - Guest Relations represents cruise line policies and procedures and is a key "front line" contact for the passenger. Similar to duties at the front desk of a fine hotel, the Guest Relations Officer provides guest services, information, exchanges travelers checks and foreign currency, posts mail, provides safety deposit box service, provides banking services for passengers, assists with resolving guest complaints and any additional duties that may be assigned by the Chief Purser.

HIRING REQUIRMENTS

Requirements: High School Degree or equivalent; two (2) years front desk, hospitality desk, strong customer service skills/public relations experience or a combination of each. Must have strong cash handling experience. Additional languages are a definite asset.
