Starboard Cruise Services prefers skilled and knowledgeable candidates with 2 years of retail experience (with a preferable emphasis toward Fine Jewelry, Watches, Cosmetics and Fashion sales).

HIRING REQUIREMENTS

Selected candidates who are able to commit to an 8-month contract should:

• Be committed to participate and contribute within a team environment
• Possess a strong flair for building sales through enthusiastic customer service
• Demonstrate fluent English-language skills (written and verbal) (On some vessels, Italian, Spanish, French, German or Portuguese skills may be required.)
• Effectively welcome and inspire all prospective customers and guests into the shops.
• Present and describe our merchandise assortments with effective product knowledge and enthusiasm
• Facilitate smooth, accurate sales transactions at the POS (point of sale) through to completion
• Maintain a neat, clean and organized shop presentation
