Training And Development Manager

POSITION

Assesses training and development needs onboard the vessel and conducts a variety of structured training and development programs to improve overall performance, employee satisfacation, guest satisfaction, and safety.

HIRING REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in, preferred in Human Resources, Adult Education or related field.

• Two to four years experience in a training environment with knowledge of instructional methods and training techniques including curriculum design, needs analysis, learning theory, group and individual training techniques.
• Knowledge of different testing instruments, administration and interpretation of results.Excellent platform/presentation skills.
• Ability to conduct and follow structured training programs such as train-the-trainer, orientation and other soft-skills training.
• Experience working with all levels of employees in a diverse environment.
• Experience in hotel, restaurant, cruise line or retail environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of computers, Internet access, and the ability to navigate within a variety of software packages.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in human resources, adult education or related field.
